I feel that since I was raised with a close family, and my grandparents help watch and raise me taught me to appreciate how much our elders do for us while they are capable of it. If they are no longer able to take care of themselves without assistance , I feel that is what we as caregivers are here to do. I hope that one day if and when I ever need the favor returned that I will have the genuine caregiver that I strive to be.
