The reason I got into caregiving was mostly because of my mother (who had a stroke and I was compelled to take care of her in hopes of she would regain feeling in her left side). She never did, but I learned so much from her and from all her therapists. I will always cherish the 6 months that I was able to help her. I could not talk her into moving to Tucson with me (she lives in Montana) because she has lived there for more than 50 years. She encouraged me to get my CNA degree (from PCC). I have very much enjoyed my clients who have loving, caring families like mine
