From elderly patient care at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) too combat deployments with the mighty 4th and 1st Infantry Divisions. While at BAMC I learned that I had a knack for being effective with elderly patients which made the year I spent doing so fulltime rewarding. What I remember doing that helped the most was just sitting and talking with my patients!
