My name is lisa im 36 years young , I'm a licensed cna and live in the great state of Colorado, I love helping anyone who needs help and wants great care , I have a passion for cooking and I enjoy doing light house keeping because keeping a clean house make a great soul , I have been certified in Alzheimer's and really I enjoy working with these clients , I took care of my uncle from stage 1 to the very end , if I can be of help do let me know

I am a calm and down to earth person that enjoys being outdoors as much as possible. I like to mountain bike around Salida and hike the Rocky Mountains with my dog. I am very fortunate to have love in my life with a wonderful boyfriend of seven months. We were friends for a year before we dated and it's nice to have that love in my life. That being said I like to extend the love that I receive and be there for anyone in need. I enjoy all sorts of activities such as puzzles, card games, listening to music and hiking/walking outdoors. I enjoy cooking and cleaning and I absolutely love pets! Something I'm very proud of is that I've traveled very often throughout my life. I am only 31 years old but I am fortunate to have traveled all over Europe including to London and Paris. I have also been to Jamaica a couple of times and Mexico. I believe that experiencing different cultures is a wonderful way to expand knowledge and to understand what other lives are like other than my own. I look forward to being in touch! A few things about me are I am an extremely outgoing person, I love to make people smile and feel joy! I became a caregiver soon after I became a mother because I developed a passion for helping others and bring laughter around. Being a caregiver is more than a job to me, my residents become my family and I love looking out for them. Caregiving showed me the path I wanted to be on and helped me decide what I wanted to do with my life, I have pushed myself to lengths I didn't even know possible; and for that I'm beyond proud.

Hello! I am Melissa. I started taking care of people in general at a super young age.Along with my love of animals! Helping. Nurturing. Assisting.making people smile and laugh. Making them feel safe and secure in my presence. Though I currently am not 1st sure and CPR certified I have been taking g these classes over 30 yrs.I worked with the mentally and physically disabled for 30yrs. I am very experienced with many metal and physical disabilities from bi polar. Dementia. Alzheimers. Autistic. stroke. Diabetics. Deaf. blind. G tube. And more thank u. Taking the time to read.

I'm a very compassionate and understanding individual. My interests are psychology, sociology and science. I've come to understand the importance of our elders and their needs through me taking care of my grandparents. I've grown to see their importance and I've seen how people can struggle to balance work and family. I can tell you that it's hard but with the right help it can get easier and I'm here to help.

My chosen career was to be a teacher for students with special needs. Now that I am retired after 40 years of teaching, I am enjoying using my skills to assist individuals with their unique needs.

I began my journey of helping others 18 years old when I acquired a license in personal training with a focus on corrective exercise. My college years in kinesiology enhanced my empathy when I spent 100 hours interning at an in-patient rehabilitation facility where the focused population were those who sufferedTBI, joint replacement and neurological disorders. Later, through my honor society, the volunteer time I chose was split between tutoring STEM to 8th grade students in underprivileged communities (Austin Partners in Education) and organizing games and activities at an adult day care (AGE of Central Texas) where families took their loved ones who needed a little extra help dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's while they were at work during the day. Simultaneously juggling these humbling populations - those tryin to find self identity and those trying to maintain their sense of self identity really helped balance my own ego, instilling a life long humility and a sense of being a servant leader to those around me. I finished my studies at Texas State University with a major in Exercise Physiology and a minor in math. Since then I have continued to serve others where I have honed my skills in helping those achieve better quality of life through functional movement creating individualized programs combining clinical massage and corrective exercise. To conclude, I am a well rounded, loving and caring person who enjoys helping others find balance their quality of life with the aught most attention to safety in application.

I feel I'm an up beat, positive person. I am very kind & caring naturally, it's just who I am & what I do. Doesn't matter if I'm working or not. I love helping people just in general being able to build friendships & making peoples life a little easier daily makes me happy. I feel am very lucky to be able to wake up & help make a persons day a little happier just by being there for them and helping them out. One of my favorite parts of caregiving is getting to meet all the different types of people & hear their different life stories. My greatest accomplishments I'm most proud of in life would be my 2 amazing kids.

Very outgoing, time management, understanding and giving! My grandparents had health issues so I started going over everyday and helping them. I loved doing that! They are in heaven now and I want to continue to help people who are in need. It makes me feel like I can make a difference one person at a time
