I completed 72 hours of clinical experience in order to receive my CNA license. These 72 hours were completed at Littleton Hospital, Life Care Center of Littleton, and Highline Place. Here I learned everything from bathroom care to range of motion to feeding skills. I worked on the Post op. floor of Littleton and learned bed side manner and varied patient care and exercise. I worked all around the building at Life Care Center with rehabilitation patients as well as assisted living patients. I learned transfers, patient needs, baths/showers, bathroom care, dressing, working on a schedule, bed making, range of motion exercises, etc. At Highline Place I worked with sever Alzheimer/Dementia patients where I learned to adapt to different patients, meals and feeding, laundry, etc.
