Hi, My names Vanessa and I got cna certified through Medstar Academy in 2015. My first job was at Sun Health long term and rehab center in Sun City West. I worked in the long term and rehab for about 8 months. I am very knowledgeable with total care patients which includes lifts, grooming, bathing etc. I currently work at Boswell Banner now for about 5 months doing almost the same skills except now I draw blood and do EKGs. What inspired me to start in health care is my grandma was put in a nursing home due to stroke she lived there until she passed in 2009 due to negligence. If I can make a different to ensure a patient is properly cared for I know my grandma would be very proud of me. So my job isnt just a job its personal and I hold my standards high in quality patient care. Thanks......
