I have aimed to care for others since graduating high school, although that was on a mental or resourcing level rather than physically. I served in the Army as a mental health technician, after which I obtained my bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology, while working at the Department of Veterans Affairs supporting veterans. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Masters in Social Work which I should be completing in December.
