Hey, I'm Shakara Boles and for over the last 2 years and 4 months I been working with resident in a nursing home. I have a bachelors in psychology. But some where along the way I just fell in love with taking care of people. I knew that I wanted to help people but did not know it was by becoming a CNA. I'm very hardworking, determined, kind hearted, loving, and caring. Also ontop of working I am a mother of a 5 year old daughter and 6 months ago added another child into my daily routine my 4 year old niece. I'm a cheer coach ontop of that but never is to busy to take care of everything that's need to be done. I really didn't know what I would be doing after graduating school but before I graduated from college; I took a CNA course to make extra money but after doing it for so long I just fell in love with it all and I just couldn't leave it. I enjoy every moment about being a caregiver because I know I'm making a big difference into someone else life especially someone family member that they care for. It's never a dual moment having this as a career but it helps motivate you and keep you up on your toes to make sure that someone that is not related to you get all the help they need. I am proud of everything I have accomplish in my life time because I'm making a future that not only for me but my child and niece as well. One thing I am proud of that I can say is that becaming a CNA was the best decision I made because it helped me to become a better person and my love has grown even more because of this. I would not change any decision I made to become one.

I'm very outgoing and patient to my companion needs and listen to them My sister died at age 21 and she had cerebral palsy and epilepsy, I watched my mom take care of her as well helping my mom take care of her and it was her (Brandi)is the reason o love taking care old and young.I get great joy of helping people be happy.

I am a single mother of two beautiful little girls, ages 8 and 10 years old. I grew up in a very small community in the middle of nowhere being the middle child of two brothers.

My name is Tiara. I'm 25 years old and have a 8 year old daughter. I have been working as a caregiver since 2015. I am a certified nursing assistant, Phlebotomist, and medical assistant. Also certified in CPR. I am very caring and dependable. I love to do my job in the medical field being able to help others and their families. I'm a great caregiver because I love the elderly they are wise people.the reason i became an care giver was because my son was very sickly and I was always in the hospital with him for his chronic illness that he had.I also love being a caregiver because some day someone is going to return the love to me that I've gave to there love ones.

I've been a nurse for two years now and have developed an affinity for our elderly population. I've primarily been in a hospital setting and have recently worked in an assisted living facility, so I've gained experience in taking care of patients with many different ailments, including diabetes, heart failure, and dementia. I am very patient and willing to devote my time and attention to caring for your loved one with the goal of reaching their best, healthiest selves possible.
