I was an RN for 14 years predominately in oncology, 3 years in Hospice home health. I am the mother and caregiver of a 43 year old son with quadriplegic cerebral palsy so I am very experienced with disabilities and needed equipment. I cared for my mother, who had alzheimer's disease. I have been a church secretary for the last two years. I am a very compassionate, caring person with a positive personality and a good sense of humor. I want to be a Caregiver.

I became a caregiver when I realize, no one else was going to be able to fill the needs of my granny, Granny had a stroke and blood disease but was ok .. I was in Atlanta about to open hair salon with my best friend, Meanwhile I get call from my daughter granny wasn't getting any better. A week later I went home to visit granny as I walked around the house and saw how poorly she was managing, I knew I had make a difficult choice. I walked away from my business ... and put my life on hold. as it were to care for my granny who have giving so much to this world ..It was a choice , but it was also true that choosing not to help her was not an option , Not a choice and obligation to the one we love.. Before granny pass she would always say to me .. you are God's choosing one.. Love ! After that I took care of my best friend mom,,and my neighbors love ones .. I've always know my calling was to help others at the same time I knew I wanted to be caregiver

What makes me a great caregiver is that I'm patient, attentive, caring, loyal, dependable, compassionate and most of all I provide care from the heart as if I was caring for my own love one. What attracted me to being a caregiver is during my childhood I gained a passion for caring for other people after taking care my dad, grandmother, and mom. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I can be of assistant to people that still have strive in life but just need companionship and a caring heart to help them get through their daily task like they use to. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is being in the healthcare field for 8 plus years and now have now started my own Companion Care Sitter Service to provide Heaven Sent care to people and their loved ones.

I have work with people who have Alzheimer's tracheotomy, dialysis I can take blood give insuline, dispense medicine, use a hoyer lift, change dipers give bed baths and showers assist in walking and help with physical and occupational therapy, I also cook and clean. I love being able to go into someone's household and be an asset to them helping to live out the the rest of their life or just helping them have the best quality of life living at home and being comfortable there. I am also a Medical Assistant and CPR and First Aide certified. I also have 16 years experience

I am very caring and compassionate for the elderly and disable and I am very interested in assisting them with their daily activities and personal care and I am also very detailed . oriented love the one on one care. I've learned that if your heart is not in it then this profession is not for you I am looking for a family that I can dedicate my time, my experience, and most of all myself to bond, and grow with that family and with all that being said I thank you.

I'm a very passionate caregiver. I love what I do,it been my passion since I was 16years old. I had to help my mom care for my grandfather n grandmother. While she work.this is the reason I became a caregiver, my granny said :u are really good at this really love u for this helping your mom out when u could be with your friends (tears).
