I have always been a nurturing person by nature. Between caring for family, and my professional career, I have over 15 years of experience. I was born a people person. I have a deep passion for helping the elderly, and disabled. It started as a teen caring for my great-grandmother, and was compounded when I became a mother of a special needs child. Caregiving is who I am.

I have been a caregiver since I was a child. My dad had polio and my mom had other physical problems so, I became their caregiver. As an adult, I have enjoyed Hospice work, working with dementia patients and working with children. I feel like helping others is what my purpose in life is. I enjoy it and love meeting and learning from new people.

I love them just like they are my own family! My patients encourage me in days that I can't encourage myself! Being an experienced caregiver striving me to become a LPN & RN in about 5 years! I got into being a caregiver at the young age of 16 I would go to a nursing home and volunteer with the Hospic patients. Being able to make There day and time special meant something to me. So every since then I knew my calling was to be a caregiver to selfless and being able to help others has been the best journey of my life. The best gift I can get out of being a caregiver is being able to give the patient what they need and knowing I made a difference in there life when they needed it the most. The most rewarding and biggest achievement I have gotten out of my passion for caregiving was working with a Patient who had Huntington's disease, I was very close to her and her family and knowing I made a difference in her life all the way to the end lent the world to me. I love being a caregiver it is a passion it isn't just work for me never has been.

In the past I tried new jobs but came back to being a caregiver worked with children and A hospice work with patients on vents med/surgery. Worked in the hospital and long term care Facilities .
