I have always had a passion for helping seniors even as a very young adult. I cared for my grandmother with love and patience, but always with the respect and dignity that she deserved. I feel most comfortable when in the caregiving position. My strengths are empathy, compassion and patience..always with a smile! I am very reliable and punctual. I have extensive experience working with seniors in many different capacities, from parkinsons, MS, alzheimers, dementia, stroke, and wheelchair bound. I believe I am a good caregiver because I have been on both side of the experience. I started care giving when I was 19 for my great grandmother who was on hospice and getting in home care. I was young but able to understand the significance in knowing the difference between " quality of life " vs " quantity of life " .
