I became a caregiver because I love to help people and I have the right personality for it. I'm very patient and dependable. I've been a caregiver for about 10 years although I do not plan to do this as a career I do enjoy being able to help others, and comfort those who need comforting.

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. Also I like older adults and feel you can get along well with a variety of elders. I just finished my Certified Nursing Assistant class to get forward to health care field.

I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 10. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background. It has been a great journey of growth and connection for me like no other and I find it so fulfilling to be able to help our elderly population in need. They have been all like family.
