When I was a teenager, my grandmother needed extra care and my mother didn't always have time to do everything necessary, so I stepped in and shared in the care of my grandmother. She always told me that I would make a great care giver and that I could bring joy to alot of people due to my compassionate personality. Also, when my late husband had Leukemia, I cared for him in all facets of the care, including bathing, feeding, helping in the bathroom, etc., until he died 2 years ago. I also cared for my best friend, til she died from heart failure a few years ago. I believe that these experiences have solidified my ability and desire to help others, even if it is simply in the capacity of companion. **About my fee; my fee ranges any where between 13.00 per hour to 15.00 per hour depending on the case, the work involved and the time of day. For over nites and live-ins, I am willing to quote a flat fee to save you money. Since I was a little child I was taught to respect and provide special care and attention to older people. Mainly, I was raised by my grandmother whom I always called "Mama". I always enjoyed her company and was happy to take care of her. Therefore being around older people and making them happy gives a great pleasure to me.
People call me a kind, honest, highly responsible, and hard working person, who keeps her heart open for everyone!
