What makes me a great care giver is ,that I just don't go and do my job I go and do what I love doing helping people that need help in daily life duties. Why and how I became a care giver I was in high school and on my weekends I was carrying for one of my neighbors. She needed someone to care for her.She didn't have daughters that live close by she was always by herself and she asked my mom if I could come over and care for her and help her out so I did and from there I knew that was my career. What I love about being a caregiver is that you learn a lot from your clients you care for they tell you when they were young, just journeys that they had in their life. My achievement that I'm most proud of is that my clients know that I'm there for them as a friend not just a care giver. One day my client called me she felt very scare she was having chest and she didn't have nobody at home that day, I was off and I came home to be with her she fell save. I went above and beyond like she says what and a lot of people do. Looking for who I can care for , 8hrs + a day. (PAY RATE CAN BE NEGOTIABLE )

Prior to becoming a caregiver I worked in Business Management for 15 years. I left in 2009 to take care of my grandmother in who needed full time care due to COPD and Parkinson's Disease. While caring for my grandma for 3 years I learned how important it is to make sure the elderly are treated with empathy, patience, love and proper care. So after my grandma went to be with the Lord I new I wanted to make a difference in others who needed assistance in Everyday living due to an Illness or just unable to due things they use to cause getting older which we will all be there someday and need some extra care. So I went to school to better my education and learn more about knowing the proper mechanics and safety to be able to be the best caregiver. I Got My CNA/HHA. I got a job pretty fast after finishing school at a Facility where they put me through a Med Tech Program so I am also able to administer Medication, Take Blood Sugar and Assist with Insulin. I Work with that company for 5yrs but have decided I would like to work as a personal in- home caregiver where I can work one on one and am able to give that client the best care possible and there able to stay in there own homes.
