I have been a caregiver for over 40 years. Working with Carelinx clients for the last 11 years. I Have worked in the medical field for many years. I was a medical assistant, Experience includes Radiology, Phlebotomy. In hospitals as well as privately as a caregiver. I speak 2 other languages. Spanish and Italian. I have knowledge of medications, first aid and CPR. I am experience in caring for people with Cancer, Alzheimers Parkinson, Dialysis, liver transplant Heart attacks, stoke, Neuropathy, Diabetes, Hypertension , and patients in hospice.

I started doing caregiving in 2006 working for IHSS. I stayed with them until 2011. I loved the one on one with the client's. I have worked in facilities but didn't like that people weren't always getting the best care from all of the caregivers. I been doing private homes for a lot of years since. I love what I do and I am very grateful to do it. I have a lot of patience and compassion for my clients and there families. I try to give them the best care that they deserve. I do currently work for Cross Country Workforce doing Caregiving. I enjoy my job and I love working with folks. I love being able to help someone that's in need of care. It makes my heart smile.

What drove me to be a caregiver is when i realized the need to serve and help others. This passion came when I lived with my grandmother who i loved dearly and as she aged i realized she needed care day by day. I automatically became a caregiver to her, a job I have come to love and perfect professionally. My reliability, patience, privacy, respect and hard work are some of my personality traits that drives me to ensure I cultivate a closer bond and be a great caregiver. seeing the satisfaction that is derived from my caregiving, gives me joy and motivates me to do my best. I am a warm, caring and compassionate person and have always enjoyed helping people, it comes as Second Nature to me, and I was both my Parent's "Right Hand Girl" as they used to call me. My mom worked for the Visiting Nurses Association when I was a young girl and back then she was allowed to take me with her to some of her clients, so that's one reason why I developed an interest in this type of work.
