I'm outgoing friendly and have over 8 years of caregiving experience. I enjoy sewing, reading, music, and good company. I'm Christian and am a firm believer in loving God and others. I took care of my grandma when I was growing up and my little brother.

Caregiving has been my job for over five years now and I stayed on this kind of job because I love caring elderly persons. I treat my patients with extra loving care as if my own family member.

Caregiving is a very personal job, still I find ways to incorporate love, humor, cheerfulness, fun, hope, trust and optimism into my care. I love that I get the opportunity to listen and learn about thier lives as it allows me to live vicariously through their many adventures, life accomplishments and travels. I find capturing their legacy most fascinating...respecting their dignity. Lastly and most importantly, meeting them when/where they need it most in their life's journey... be it a speedy recovery or their last chapter in the book of life.

I started caregiving for elderly and disabled in high school for family friends for several families . I later was a pharmacy technician for many years and worked as a care taker for several of my customers. I was chosen because I was reliable, patient and treated them like they were my family.

Retired U.S Army Solid grounding in nursing theories and practices in acute care medical-surgical, assisted living, rehabilitation, LTC, Radiology, pediatrics, outpatient surgery, and ICU. Excellent clinical, assessment, and decision-making skills. Compassionate and efficient professional able to remain calm through emergent/critical situations. Don't mind being tested for COVID-19 and check for fevers each day for myself and family .

I am proud to say that being a caregiver, i became a very very understanding person dealing with clients. I developed a close bond to my clients, spending time with them listening to their stories. I give them respect and dignity. To be able to bring some sunshine and smiles and laughter to my clients is already a big achievement to me. I worked with clients with dementia, COPD. My job includes help with medication, bathing/grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, run errands. I am registered with HomeCare Aide of California, CPR registered and a CNA.
