My mother passed away suddenly back in 2007. I never got to say goodbye or even go through a sick process. I had no idea she was even ill from a heart condition. My dad passed 4 years later from lung cancer. He was stubborn and didn't like that fact he needed help. Since I wasn't able to help my parents I found peace in helping other people's love ones get the help that they need. I know most people have families of their own to look after and can't provide the daily care that their ailing love ones need. I would like to help with that. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is hearing my clients response to the question 'What are you grateful for today?' and their answer is You. I love knowing that I am taking care of them emotionally, mentally, as well as their physical needs. They trust the safe, caring, and compassionate environment I create. I've obtained Dementia Care, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's Disease & Home Health Aide Certificate. In May 2019, I became certified as a Health & Life Coach with advanced skills in Heart Disease, Weight loss & Diabetes. So I can broaden my skills to better help my clients.
