I love to make people smile. Caregiving became my passion around the age of 12. My mother who is an RN, opened her first home care business. The rest was history as they say! Hearing the stories from the past, life lessons, experiences from people who were light years ahead of me. It's been a joy getting to know different cultures & views. My passion is helping those who can't help themselves. A majority of the people I take care of are veterans. I wouldn't have it any other way! Sacrificing for the people who have done for the same for us is nothing less than an honor. My proudest achievement would be that people remember me & ask for me even when my work with them is done. Even though I've been employee of the month multiple times. Nothing compares to hearing from your residents mouth that they appreciate you for all you do.

I have been a senior caregiver for 32 yrs, my services are cooking meals, house cleaning, errands, DR. Appts, daily activities, assisting with bathing/shower, assisting with getting dressed, what ever I can do to make life easier for the person who may need a little help with things that are difficult to do now. Relocated-- I am a Survivor of Hurricane Ian in Ft. Myers, Ft. Myers Beach, last year, Sept 2022. I was drawn to the Ocala area through a friend/associate offering respite or whatever I needed and became enthused by it all here. I'm now a homeowner so have been busy with early repairs, upkeep and then a new roof. I haven't needed to work this 1year, but now it would be great to get a re-start here in Ocala/Marion County. 10823

I am a licensed emergency medical technician and certified paramedic, and strive to provide the highest care to those in need and have made it my life passion. I have many years of experience in emergency medicine as well as caring for others weather professional or personal. I had two grandmothers and a grandfather that had many ailments to include: stroke, Alzheimer's, cancer, and dementia. I was present and provided most of their palliative care prior to their passing. This included everything from companionship to ADLs to BLS care. I am trustworthy, hard-working, and extremely compassionate and love to be able to provide my assistance and care to anyone who needs it.

I have been in health care since 1998. I spent 24 years working with the elderly, IDD, autistic children, elementary education and mental health. I love people of all ages and it does not matter if they have a disability or not. I love conversations with people, getting to know things about them.
