I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I've always been interested in healthcare and taking care of the elderly. They have so many great stories and memories to share, plus taking care of them reminds me of when I did it for my own grandpa! I loved being able to care of him in his own home! I've worked will all different levels and types. I've worked in assisted living facilities, memory care locked units for the dementia and Alzheimer's patients and have also done a lot of in home health care which I love the most! I'm a very patient, caring person that will take care of your loved one just like I would one of my family members!
