I started caring for both my parents but at different times when they were diagnosed with cancer yrs ago, my dad saw how I was with mom & from that time i also cared for him, he knew it was my calling & he was comfortable in my care. Then just within the past year I was able to care for my mother in law as well. I just feel compassionate about caring for others & it's such a rewarding experience everyday to know I'm making a difference in someone's life! The most rewarding experiences I recall is when new accomplishments are made & to see their faces show such excitement. There's always something to be thankful for at the end of the day,

I'm the type of person that's very personable I love people and I love helping others. I worked at St Vincent hospital as a patient safety assistance I kept my patients safe I assisted them with restroom duties, feeding, walking, I played games with them watched television I became their companion. I've worked with people with all types of elements even hospice, ages from infants to 104 years of age. I also work with the seniors at my church. I'm a very nurturing person. I have always loved taking care of the elderly. You have to have the heart. I started out by being there for my mom until she left me. Then when I lossed her I said why not take care of others. I hope I be able to have the same done for myself if I be around that long. Honest, Dependable, Trustworthy.. I like to have fun get to know my client. Become friends and have a relationship. That is what makes me a good caregiver. Have excellent references.

I want to deal with geriatrics until I finish undergraduate because I have a lot of patience with older people. I need a slower pace from the hectic rehabs and nursing homes that I have worked at in the past. I'm super clean and calm. I have my own transportation and flexible hours, so hopefully you and I can compromise to give your loved one a clean and healthy home environment.

I feel that I am a servant caregiver and born to always finding a way to care for someone. Being in health care for 40+ years has been a joy and rewarding. I say this because it is sometimes impossible to find someone that cares and loves their job. I have always loved going to work. I have had patients tell me all my life "you are here for me" my reply is" I wish we had met under different circumstances" but you are here for me as well. I have never had problems establishing a great rapport with patients. It's because I care about what I do and if the job get completed and the goal was satisfied.

Hi my name is Monica. I have been in the healthcare profession for 13+ years in an office environment. Three years ago my father-in-law became very ill and began developing dementia, at the same time my mother-in-law had just gone through hip surgery. I began staying with them nightly and maintained my daily job. Neither of them had any desire to go into any type of nursing home with strangers tending to them. They were very hesitant as well, to have anyone coming into the home. It was during this time I developed a strong desire to help and take care of them to the best of my ability. I took care of my father-in-law while my mother-in-law recovered from surgery, and held his hand until he took his last breath. I am a natural nurturer and it gives me great joy and satisfaction to take care of someone who cannot take care of themselves alone and are often very reluctant to be cared for outside of their home. I am a very passionate and patient person, and I have a zest for life, as it is so precious and not promised. My children are grown and out on their own now and I lost my husband suddenly in 2014. My desire is to leave an unfulfilling job and begin a rewarding career that will satisfy my heart and soul. Everyone needs a little sunshine, I always have a little in my pocket to sprinkle as needed.

Hello! My name is Shanautica, and I am a dedicated CNA with a strong passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I would describe myself as patient, reliable, and attentive qualities that help me connect with clients and support them in a way that makes them feel safe and respected. I was drawn to caregiving because I love helping others maintain their independence and quality of life. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is building meaningful relationships, offering comfort, and making each day a little easier for the people I support. One achievement I'm especially proud of is earning my CNA certification while balancing work and family, which strengthened my commitment to this field and to the people I serve. I truly enjoy what I do, and I bring compassion, professionalism, and a positive attitude to every home I enter.

I am a Certified Nurse Assistant in the state of Georgia with over 13 years experience caring for the elderly. I am very caring, honest and reliable. Caring for my mother who suffered with diabetes for over the years before her death motivated me to make it my career to care for the elderly and it give me great satisfaction to know my mother is watching over me proudly. I love being a caregiver I feel real fulfillment I see the look of content, relief and comfort in my patient after a full day of service. One personal achievement was an incident whereby my resident who suffering from diabetes, foot was swollen and no one want to believe the pain he was enduring. I insisted my supervisor let him see his doctor and made it my priority to take him myself. I met with the doctor who complemented me for informing him of a sore on my patient ankle which he was not aware of, all the times my patient visited him no one never showed it to him and he always wore socks, and that explained why he cried out for pain. The doctor then ordered a wound care nurse to follow up, I also recommended he wore padded foot wear instead of regular shoes which the doctor ordered along with instructions for the other caregivers including myself to keep his foot elevated at all times. The patient got a relief and his ankle healed eventually with the help of the wound care nurse which gave me real satisfaction.
