I'm great at being a caregiver due to the fact I ALWAYS treat my patient as if they're my mom or dad!! Have taken care of dementia, hospice, cancer, assisted w/ bathing, getting dressed, housekeeping, dr. appointments, & meal prepping. I can promise you, your family will be well taken care of!! I'm the type of person that's very personable I love people and I love helping others. I worked at St Vincent hospital as a patient safety assistance I kept my patients safe I assisted them with restroom duties, feeding, walking, I played games with them watched television I became their companion. I've worked with people with all types of elements even hospice, ages from infants to 104 years of age. I also work with the seniors at my church. I'm a very nurturing person. I love to make others laugh and smile, I've been called an angel by some. I have an 88 year old mother so dealing with the elderly is something that I have mastered by experience. Also I'm a CNA

I have always loved taking care of the elderly. You have to have the heart. I started out by being there for my mom until she left me. Then when I lossed her I said why not take care of others. I hope I be able to have the same done for myself if I be around that long. Honest, Dependable, Trustworthy.. I like to have fun get to know my client. Become friends and have a relationship. That is what makes me a good caregiver. Have excellent references.

I want to deal with geriatrics until I finish undergraduate because I have a lot of patience with older people. I need a slower pace from the hectic rehabs and nursing homes that I have worked at in the past. I'm super clean and calm. I have my own transportation and flexible hours, so hopefully you and I can compromise to give your loved one a clean and healthy home environment.

I feel that I am a servant caregiver and born to always finding a way to care for someone. Being in health care for 40+ years has been a joy and rewarding. I say this because it is sometimes impossible to find someone that cares and loves their job. I have always loved going to work. I have had patients tell me all my life "you are here for me" my reply is" I wish we had met under different circumstances" but you are here for me as well. I am a Certified Nurse Assistant in the state of Georgia with over 13 years experience caring for the elderly. I am very caring, honest and reliable. Caring for my mother who suffered with diabetes for over the years before her death motivated me to make it my career to care for the elderly and it give me great satisfaction to know my mother is watching over me proudly. I love being a caregiver I feel real fulfillment I see the look of content, relief and comfort in my patient after a full day of service. One personal achievement was an incident whereby my resident who suffering from diabetes, foot was swollen and no one want to believe the pain he was enduring. I insisted my supervisor let him see his doctor and made it my priority to take him myself. I met with the doctor who complemented me for informing him of a sore on my patient ankle which he was not aware of, all the times my patient visited him no one never showed it to him and he always wore socks, and that explained why he cried out for pain. The doctor then ordered a wound care nurse to follow up, I also recommended he wore padded foot wear instead of regular shoes which the doctor ordered along with instructions for the other caregivers including myself to keep his foot elevated at all times. The patient got a relief and his ankle healed eventually with the help of the wound care nurse which gave me real satisfaction.

I'm a 42 yo female new to the Georgia area. I've been in healthcare for 20 years. Ranging from nursing facility skilled intermediate, and memory care to home health. Offering a wide range of diagnosis I've worked with. I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others and the rewards in being able to make a difference in someone's day.
