I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Hello everyone, my name is Kim. I am originally from NC, which is where I have, so far, completed my education and skills. I have years of experience in patient care. I became more interested in geriatrics when I became a medical assistant. I enjoyed emergency medicine but God gave me this incredible ability to love people, like I have known them my whole life. In particular, to give outstanding care to the ones who once took care of us. What I love most about being a caregiver is making people feel comfortable, respected, important and dignified. A personal achievement I am proud of and blessed to have, are my two sons. My oldest is 8 yrs old and is Autistic. It has been an incredible/beautiful journey watching him achieve little milestones we sometimes take for granted. My youngest son is 6 years old but acts like he is 35.
