Hello, my name is Brittany and a little background about me I'm from central Illinois born and raised here, my hobbies or exercising, garbage sale shopping, drawing, and watching documentaries. I'm currently in school to become a social worker. I enjoy working with people and helping people in anyway, I have always enjoyed working in my community and working closely with people in a personal standpoint I have prior experience working in a domestic shelter for women and children along with a homeless shelter for women and children which was very rewarding. What I enjoy most is knowing that the little things we take for granted such as bathing, grooming some are not able to do that and knowing that I can provide that assistance is rewarding for me or also sitting and chatting making another persons day go better is a reward for me. The most I'am proud of is taking a big step and going back to school so I can further my education and experience in social work I feel that my character and personality would be a great attribute to my community.

Hi my name is Jennifer and I have always enjoyed taking care of people in one fashion or another. I became a CNA in 1993 in NC and worked in many different venues ie; Ltc facilities hospitals , home health and agency. The medical field always has fascinated me so here I am almost 30 years still involved in it. I have also work as a customer service representative so I never ventured far from dealing with people. If I can impact a person's life by helping in a small way then I have served my purpose for that given day. One of my hardest experiences I have ever endured was when I took care of my Mom when she was given a terminal diagnosis of cancer. That in itself showed me that my job as a caregiver is always needed desperately.

Iam one person that does this job not only for money but its a blessing that iam able to do what God blessed me in doing and I enjoy what I do and thank all families that trust me with there loved ones.

I have been a caregiver for a little over two years now and have learned a lot. I have had experience in a nursing home, a hospital, and a group home. When I first started out I was very unsure about my job. I knew that I wanted to help people in need but didn't know if this was going to be the job for me. The longer I am in the medical field the more I love my job. I put 100% into my job and take care of my clients/residents. I am loyal, trustworthy, and very dependable. I have been raised to always treat others like you would want to be treated, respect everyone, and be kind. I remember while I was working in the nursing home I loved talking with the residents, they had a lot of cool fun stories of their lives. In all I am very compassionate about my job. At the end of the day it puts a smile on my face knowing I have made someone smile today.

Hi, I am 58 years old and I'm a caring compassionate, good hearted person who enjoys helping people out with their daily needs young or old. I really enjoy what I do and meeting people. My parents raised me to be a good christian person and to help people out no matter what they needed or didn't need such as raking their yard, shoveling snow, going to the grocery store, for them, mowing their yard etc.....and my parents said never ask for money for your good nature and kindness because you are doing it all from the heart. They taught me well and I appreciate them for it.

Over 6 years of caregiving experience. I really got into homecare after my son was in an accident. While being trained to care for him I decided this was something that I really enjoyed it doing. I spent a lot of my time with great-grandmother in the south and by her being elderly; I learned a lot from her and also assisted her in the kitchen where I took up a love for cooking. I love caring for people and being a companion when needed; making a client as comfortable as possible and providing grooming can really make a difference in how one is able to cope with their day. I don't mind going the extra to make a person feel special, this is just they way that I was raised.
