I highly doubt writing an "about me" could possibly give you a complete understanding of myself as a person. Let alone myself... as a caregiver. I truly do believe I was put here on earth to "take care" of people, to help people. I have been a caregiver as far back as I can remember. Starting with my siblings. I can not recall a time where I was not taking care of someone or something. Working for Gardenview Manor as the assistant director of activities was truly my "dream job". Taking care of my residents, making sure they had what they needed. (Including yet not limited to physical and mental support. )My job was to "keep everyone happy" and I did just that. I came in everyday seeking every possible solution to any and every problem. If my residents were not content, I did not clock out. I stayed and made sure they got what they needed. That is simply how my heart is wired. There are not many people like myself. I say that with complete gumption and honesty.

What makes me a great care giver is that I really care for the person that I am taking care of. I love what I do. I became a CNA because I wanted to take care of my grandmother and that's how I got into the business of becoming a CNA I had been doing CNA work for 15 years and I have been a dialysis tech for 3 years but I still work as a care giver.
