The most important aspect of being a caregiver to me is building a relationship with my clients that becomes more of a family rather than a job or their caregiver. Hello my name is kaytlynn, most of my friends call me Kayt(pronounced Kate). I have been a CNA for 3 going on 4 years, but before that i have taken care of my Mother since i was a teenager, she is completely deaf in one ear, and only has 10 percent hearing in the other, she has hearing aides , false teeth, arthritis, has had a double bypass, and a total hysterectomy, she has COPD, and blood cancer . She has this rare form of cancer where her RBC'S attack her WBC'S causing her health to be poor, he bones to be weak, and her blood to thicken like ketchup. She has to go bi-weekly, sometimes even weekly to have blood pumped off, so it doesn't thicken in her veins and arteries. Taken care of people in need comes natural to me , i have done it my whole life , and don't plan on changing that any time soon.
