Hello, My name is Cheyanna Fields! I am a 25 years old single mom to the most handsome 2 year old! I am hard working ,independent , self driven, detail oriented, self motivated, organized, clean, and cheerful person! I have been a caregiver for a little over 5 years, I love helping others with day to day life skills and needs I always knew I wanted to help people and once I finally started to I knew I never wanted it to end! Helping others makes me feel so much joy just knowing that the person is being properly cared for. I love getting to know each an every person I get the pleasure of working with. I have been a CNA for 10 years, and have worked in all different situations in many different facilities. I aspire to go further with my nursing degree, and eventually, hopefully become an RN like my mom. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me a sense of purpose, I enjoy helping people. Many life lessons held dearest to my heart, came from the facility where I worked my first 2 years as a CNA. I currently work PRN for an agency based out of Indianapolis. Although I am through an agency, I have been steadily picking up at a facility in Franklin for over 5 years. I am searching for a PRN or part time option closer to home. I have been in healthcare for awhile now. I've worked with dementia patients, hospice patients, and most diseases or disabilities you can think of. Healthcare and assisting people in general has been what I've wanted to do since I was a child and I'm now fulfilling that dream. Taking care of those who once took care of us! I enjoy being a caregiver because knowing the fact that I can make someone's life a little easier by assisting them with simple tasks makes me feel so much joy. I truly love what I do.

I have been a caregiver my entire life, I started out as a CNA at age 17 I did that as well as home health care for several years then I went to college and acquired my associates degree in Medical Assisting. Then I worked at an opthalmology practice for 3 years then a Cardiology center for 2 and most recently I've been employed as a direct care staff taking care of clients in their home. Hello my name is Michelle Dayton. I have worked in home healthcare for close to 25 years. I have been State certified as a CNA in both Michigan and Indiana. I am not currently certified but I am a registered HHA. I get tremendous enjoyment of taking care of others. My healthcare career started as a volunteer for hospice after I lost my grandparents. I've seen what amazing work they did and how at peace my grandparents were when they passed and I chose to pay it forward. I am a little more picky on the people I take care of then other Aides for two reasons: 1. If the client and I seem to clash it's no good for anyone. So I will not waste your time or my own. I will just respectfully decline the offer. 2. The clients I take on will not be just a clients. I love my people like they're my own family and I will do my absolute best to meet every need they have. If I cannot accomplish that I will find someone who can and put you in touch with them, because there's no sense in your family members being unhappy and uncomfortable in their own home. I feel that I am very caring and compassionate with each and every client that I've had. I believe everyone deserves respect, kindness and a voice( your opinion matters to me!) I will never force your family members to do something they don't want to do. I feel they have live through several wars, a great depression and a whole lot of hardship in the past and now is their time to be pampered. If your family member needs anything or you have questions about anything if I can't answer them I will find the answers and if I have the answers I will let you know.

I'm a single mother of 2 teenagers. I have 10 years experience in home health work and medical assisting.

During my childhood years, caring for my elderly grandparents was a part of my everyday life. They had several health issues and were in and out of hospitals frequently. I was exposed to caregivers in many different settings. The impact that kind, compassionate and informative care-giving made all the difference to me and my family. At the age of 12, I knew nursing was what I wanted to do with my life. As I pursued nursing, I started out caring for patients in a nursing home as a nursing assistant. I loved this, as I got to care for clients, just like my grandparents. The opportunity to establish connections with clients week-to-week was special! After nursing school, I moved to caring for patients in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse. The hospital experiences have given me a broad scope of skills, whether it is assisting patients with basic self-care needs, changing dressings, managing ventilators or providing education, being able to establish a rapport with patients and their family's is still one of the favorite parts of my job. I love being able to help people understand what is going on with their health and their treatment plan. Just as others demonstrated to my own family, I want each of my clients and their family members to feel safe, cared for and heard.

I am a good caregiver because I take care of all my patients the way I would want my own parents treated. I always make sure that he/she is comfortable & happy before I walk away.

I'm a happy, compassionate person. I want the best for my clients and will give them just that! I will be not only their Home Health Aide but also their best friend. Not only am I here to take of your loved ones but I'm here for you too!

I am a loving and caring person who takes lots of pride in the work that I do. Taking care of people and helping people is something that I love to do and will probably do this until I can't work anymore! I am in school right now to become a nurse. My end goal is to be a an RN!
