I enjoy spending my life caring for others and I enjoy how full my life is to have so many wonderful people in my life. I work well with a variety of people. I do a through job of provided hands on personal care as well as doing brain engaging activities.

Well I always say the good lord made me for this I have a big heart my residents always called me smiley which I try to always keep know matter how I may feel .I love the elderly there stories just putting a smile on there face ..Well the girls woukd cone get me if they couldn't understand someone because I could just knowing I helped someone and made there day better was always a good day for me .

Duties can include taking vital signs, assisting residents to move about the home or facility, helping them manage their meals and use bathroom facilities, transferring, turning, lifting or positioning bedridden patients, offering emotional support, rehabilitative exercises, bathing, grooming, feeding, and all other aspects of care as allowed by state laws and regulations.

Hi, My name is April. I first noticed I had an interest in taking care of people at very young age. I grew up around my grandmother taking care of the disabled and I would notice how some staff members would treat them and it broke my heart. I absolutely love taking care of people because I know that's one more person I can help and especially if they have a good time with you they become family. I'm extremely good at remembering things that has to be done and I always try to make them feel comfortable and let them know they aren't bothering me with anything they want or need that's what I'm there for. A personal achievement would be working with someone who doesn't like people and having them like me in the end.

As a caregiver I see it more as I'm a helping hand, someone who you can lean on and trust, I'll always try my best to help you no matter what! I've always loved the medical field and wanted to help people since I was younger just knowing I make a difference in someone's lives brings happiness to my heart!
