This is my 35th year as a caregiver and I believe God asked me to do as I do. I believe every single person deserves to be treated as family. One day I may need someone to take care of me and I would want the same for myself. I believe respect should be given to every person. The patients, residents, clients, I care for for are always number one. I will always do what's in their best interest. I promise always to loyal. I have been trained to provide the proper care on bathing, transportation, medicine distribution, and ext. I feel like everyone needs a little help in life and being a mother of 3 I have realized I much enjoy being a caregiver. I enjoy being a caregiver, because I love being apart of someone's life that I can help them live out thier life happy an successful. I enjoy the stories I hear. The caring of another. I'm very proud by the end of the day, week, or month that I have achieved accomplishments of a client's needs, and goals in life. Making someone time better.

I have extensive experience in wound care for pressure ulcers and skin disorders. I am very easy going and patient and know how to help with mobility. I see so many people that either have no one at all or have people that cannot do the caregiving. It is not for everyone. what I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing people treated with dignity and like they matter, and not a burden. I am most proud of the fact that I was able to keep my Dad at home, and let him go peacefully at home, instead if a hospital or nursing home.

What makes me a great caregiver well to answer that honestly I really dont know I am patient understanding and care deeply for my clients and listen to them when ever they need someone to just listen. I have took care of the elderly since 2012 i left my job because I moved here to Benton Ky. I have took care of ones with als and cerebral palsy. Three years ago, my grandmother was diagnosed with Stomach and lung cancer. Shortly after her diagnosis, she had a stroke and was unable to do much of anything for herself. I took care of my grandparents until my grandma passed away last year. I realized that helping people was something that I really valued and took a job as CNA at the hospital and loved the work I did there. My favorite part was helping the patients to achieve things they thought that they couldn't by offering them an arm to hold onto and some encouraging words.
