Well I always say the good lord made me for this I have a big heart my residents always called me smiley which I try to always keep know matter how I may feel .I love the elderly there stories just putting a smile on there face ..Well the girls woukd cone get me if they couldn't understand someone because I could just knowing I helped someone and made there day better was always a good day for me .

Hello all, I'm Julie, I have been certified for roughly 3 years, but have been doing cna work for 5 years. I have took care of my mom and my nanny for as long as I can remember and I cannot wait to meet you!

I was a nurse aid for around 11 years at several different nursing homes. I started doing caregiving when my grandpa moved in with my parents. In 2018 my mother got diagnosed with Parkinson disease I helped her and still do from time to time when she can't do normal activities. This is why i continue to do caregiving work. What would happen if my mom didnt have me to help her when she cant do something. It made me want to be able to help others that dont have anyone there. I have worked for horizon health and also now work for encore as a caregiver. I love being able to help others that can't do normal things for themselves. It is so rewarding.

I am a very patient and understanding person. I take time to get to know the resident or patient. I try to understand their condition and needs on a personal level, in order to find the best approach. I am a very strong and hard working individual that has a very strong love for the nursing field. I enjoy it when I gain the respect and love of the resident/Patient. I'm am proud to say that my greatest achievements is that I have always been able to maintain a positive relationship with all of my residents . As a Nurse aide I provide direct patient care in nursing homes and in other settings such as hospital long-term care wards, community rehabilitation or private home settings. Duties can include taking vital signs, assisting residents to move about the home or facility, helping them manage their meals and use bathroom facilities, transferring, turning, lifting or positioning bedridden patients, offering emotional support, rehabilitative exercises, bathing, grooming, feeding, and all other aspects of care as allowed by state laws and regulations.

I am a hardworking, dependable and reliable professional and upbeat employee. I enjoy working and I have a big heart for working and helping others. I have been a CNA since 2013, & recently just bought our first home in Kentucky. Just moved here from NC, so I currently am working on getting my Cna license back!

The main reason why I chose to become a caregiver is because I was raised by my great-grandparents, and someday when they can no longer give care to themselves, I wanted to have the training and experience to help them along in their time of need. I enjoy bonding with and getting to know the person(s) I take care of. I've found that making a connection helps the person(s) to feel more comfortable and at ease when receiving care.

I have been a caregiver for 16 years now, It's all I know, and love. It brings me great joy in knowing that I help bring some comfort and peace to someone's day. I've never wanted to do anything else other than care for others.

I'm a very outgoing compassionate understanding and patient person. I have trained in the alzheimer's unit when I was training for my certified Nurse Aide Certificate I've worked with multiple sclerosis patients I've been in hospice care and in-home private care. I'm a Christian woman and I absolutely believe in giving someone the best care possible and keeping them as comfortable as I possibly can.
