I have worked with a variety of different ages from youth, teens and older adults as well as the Elderly.. I've worked with Alzheimer's,.Dementia. mental illness, addiction's, Autism, Retardation, Down syndrome., Behavioral problems. I also worked with geriatric, Handicapped, , . I worked in Hospitals, facilities, In Homes. Correctional facilities . I've also worked with patients who has Sundowning. Parkinsons syndrome. I love what I do I take care of my patients as if they were my own family member, My reference s speak for themselves. . I'm very compassionate. When I devote myself to your family I give 100%.

I enjoy learning about my clients and their experiences throughout their lives and I feel that's the main thing I was looking for coming into this line of work. Building a rapport with all of the patients and residents I've worked for is the most rewarding experience I've had still to this day I'm in contact with some of the first residents I ever had I'm here to not only be a caregiver but as well a friend and companion.

I'm 39 years old and I enjoy gardening, doing nails, cooking and art. I have 2 teenagers, my son is 16 and my daughter is 18. I have always had a passion for taking care of seniors. When I was a child, probably 6, I learned that the old lady that lived across the street I thought was just a school teacher, was actually an escapee of Bonnie and Clyde. I would go sit with her everyday. And when I was 10 I started taking care of her because I noticed the ladies that were there were stealing from her and not giving her proper hygiene cleaning or feeding her well. I took care of her until I was 16. Then her family has come to stay with her because she was fading away. But there were other elderly on my street I cared for growing up. And they are the reason I am so drawn to caring for the elderly. I enjoy sitting and talking to the people I care for. They are wise and they have many stories. And they love to tell everything they've been through and learned. They truly care about people and their well-being. I see caregiving as a type of gratitude and I enjoy doing crafts or anything with them. I like to make them feel good about themselves. I am not a perfect person. No one is. We all make bad choices and go through hard struggles in life. Personally, I am proud of myself for all I've overcome. I have come a long way. Not every day is easy but every day is conquered. So many people judge others before they hear their story. The love of the elderly and their willingness to accept and trust in a stranger to come in and care for them is overpowering in my mind. They demonstrate the kind of love we should have for one another, whether they be a stranger or not and I admire them for that and so much more.

My name is Brian and I can trace my history in the medical field back into the early 90's when I was in the United States Air Force. I have worked as a Paramedic, General Manager, Education Director, Pastor, Youth Pastor and general help. I no longer have any of my licenses because I was involved in an accident in 2009 that left me unable to work in my field. It took me a few years to be able to walk and care for myself but if you met me you would not know I was ever disabled. For this reason I can assist but can not totally carry or move patients by themselves

I am a very loving person, love caring for kids and elderly people. I love helping people and being there for family members and strangers. What attracted me to being a caregiver is when I was 15 years old my aunt who was suffering from cancer needed help and she was in need of help , so I was there with my mom helping her with my aunt and caring for her. I love learning new things when it comes to caring for elderly and young people. When doing daily activities we learn new things just like they do if they are suffering from dementia. Making sure the clients are well taken care of properly, happy, and needs are met is my main goal. Becoming a caregiver was a achievement that I mastered because I love taking care of people that need extra help.
