Hello! My name is Jordan. I am a nursing student seeking to help others! I grew up babysitting/nannying for families. I then realized what I knew I wanted to do...help people! I then enrolled in a nursing program right out of high-school! I did 5 classes and am certified in all. I'm CPR/BLS certificated. I'm my senior year of highschool I did an intern ship as a preschool teacher and gained a certification in early childhood development as well.

I have been a caregiver for over 30 years. I began as a teenager in nursing homes but found in home care when I was a personal trainer. I was training a client in her home and it was then that I decided I wanted to spend more time helping the elderly remain in their homes. I am very easy going but I'm a a great worker. I do my best to help each individual maintain their dignity and respect while maintaining as much independence as possible. I enjoy the fact that people are comfortable with me at a time when someone must come into their environment which has been sacred to them for so long. It's not easy but I think I make it a bit easier.

I have been in this business over 25 years.... with a vast experience with all kinds of health problems..... I enjoy working with the elders.....

I know my path in life is to be some kind of caretaker. I took the CNA class, became a HHA, and have been loving all of my clients since day one. I started with behavioral adolescents in 2005 at Latham Centers, after 5 years there I decided to give the elderly a try, and haven't looked back. I know I have alot to offer when I go into a client's home, I treat them like my grandparent.

I have a lot of patience, and I love and enjoy taking care of those who can't take care of themselves. I became a caregiver, because there are a lot of people who are unable to take care of themselves, and some of them need special care. The fact that I am giving care, it gives me a inner peace.
