I love the interaction, the closeness and the level of respect I can give as an outsider. I have plenty of references. I am skilled with Medicare insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket so they can get what they need to stay home. I have worked with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I have always made sure I am worth what I make. I not only can do the health aspect part of the job but I will also help around the house. I can take you or just run errands for you. My references will tell you what I do not. I'm a certified nursing assistant as well as a certified medication technician. I also have CPR and First Aid training. I have 11 years of experience. I've worked for my current employer for 11 years. I was also a school nursing assistant for 3 years. I have worked with the elderly in their homes.

I became a caregiver because I have a great passion to care for people. I love putting smiles on people's face in which is a healthy therapy for people I care and work for.

I am a loving and caring person and I love helping others. I love my job and what it allows me to do for others. I have been on the receiving end of having a loved one get very sick and bounce back and forth from nursing home to hospital so I know all too well not just the physical but the emotional strain that situations like these can have for people and family's. This is why I try my best to help the best I can in any situation. I choose to get into this line of work because unfortunately I had to see first hand with a loved one that not everyone is properly taken care of or even cared about in these situations and that is just awful and unfair. When my loved one passed away I vowed to make a difference, even if its just one person or a small few its better then none or just doing nothing.

I have been doing in-home care for 8 years. I love it. I love being able to help the elderly and allowing them to trust me in assisting them with daily living. I have done private duty cases and in home care for agencies. I have excellent references. I am a CNA/GNA and a Med Tech. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have experience with all aspects of the elderly and have also have hospice cases and disabled individuals. We can discuss this experiences further into detail.

(2) Why did I become a caregiver: When i was in my early twenties I had got a job in activities in a Nursing Facility and realized this was my passion. Then became a Cna/ Gna. I enjoy caring for others. (3) What do I like about being a caregiver: I like being a caregiver because it makes me feel good to know that I'm having a positive impact caring for someone .

I am a young ambitious female trying to work her way through the medical field. I started taking care of adult with mental disabilities when I was 18 and have continued on that track. I love helping others and seeing someone else thrive is my true passion. I am willing to help anyone succeed, and I hope I am part of the reason why they did. I have 30+ years experience in long term care> I have also done 1 1/2 years Hospice care and have also done Home Care. I love working with the elderly as I think I get more from them then anything I can do for them. I feel people should be shown respect, and that their dignity is what needs to be on everyone's mind that are caring for that resident! I started as a CNA info 1994 working in a nursing home and the hospital. I went into this profession because i want to take care of people that can not take care of themselves and their families are unable to. I am very compassionate about the work that I do. The people that I have taken care of over the years i have treated with the same respect and dignity that i would want for my family. I love what I do and get great pressure taking care of others.
