I became a caregiver because I did not want to work in main stream Healthcare anymore. My passion is helping seniors the way they and their family's want to be cared for without Healthcare systems making the choices for their care. I worked as a physical therapy assistant for 27 years. The last 8 were in a rehabilitation department at a skilled nursing facility. I have enjoyed the last 9 years doing private home care as a caregiver. Helping individuals live their lives with dignity, safety and loving care.

My name is Connie and my mother's name was Carol. I took care of her until her early death at 53 for 10 years. She had MS. After being in the veterinary field for 20 years, I've gained a level of comfortability with all things clinical and medical. I adore the elderly and have experience with Alzheimer patients and those with dementia. I think I would make a great addition to your family's health care plan and can really make a difference in your loved ones daily life. I'm a happy person and try to bring that to my clients everyday.

Experienced physical therapist looking to provide caregiver assistance as a meaningful secondary position. I am an active treating clinician in my primary job as an outpatient physical therapist/supervisor, with additional experience working in the inpatient setting. My background provides me with bed mobility, transfers, and gait training, in addition to proficiency in exercise programs. I've worked with a wide variety of patients, including geriatrics, post-operative and those more medically complex. Willing to assist with household tasks, errands or be there for general companionship, as well. In 2017 I graduated from nursing school with the intention of helping people be stay healthy and feel their best. I have worked in all different types of settings, such as hospitals. nursing homes, private care duties, group homes, and home care. I love to give back to people that are in need of help. I love it sit and talk with people. I love what I do because it gives back to the community especially the elderly that need the extra help and have worked hard their whole lives. I'm recently married to my best friend. I was born and raised in Aroostook County, Maine until almost 3 years ago I relocated to southern maine for work reasons and of course to be with my now husband. I have an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Before I was a CNA I was a waitress for almost 5 years. I have great customer service skills. I enjoy reading, learning new things, and being outdoors. I love any outdoors activity.

I have been taking care of people all my life! I started out at 16 years old as a nurses aide and worked my way up to an RN while raising my family. I have experience with children, disabled children and adults, geriatrics and hospice. My belief is the patient/clients needs come first. I am open and honest . I stay calm during a crisis and maintain my patient/clients dignity at all times.

I've been an LNA for four years now and I am working towards getting my RN at Great Bay as well. I have a five year old daughter and I am looking for first or third shift during the week so I can still see her when she gets out of school. On the weekends, I am able to work anytime

I first started caregiving when I was 17. My first job was for glorias helping hands. At first i wasnt sure about how i felt about the type of work. I didnt have much experience as to what i was doing. I took some classes and got my rcs1 and crma first. Rcs1 is a residential care specialist and a CRMA is a certified residential medical assistant. As i learned more and worked more I realized that is was my passion to help others who may need some assistance in things they can no longer do. Honestly u really do have to have a passion for this type of work because u never know what could happen or what situation u may end up in. And some of the disabilities, and some health issues can be challenging. Ive been very lucky to continue and have worked and learned various disabilities, as well as illnesses. Today i have my rcs1, pss,cna, and also insulin certified, cpr certified, and first aid certified. I love knowing that I'm making a difference and im helping and am there for someone who needs some support and help in their life.
