I am fully vaccinated, and have my booster. I haven't been able to submit an image of my vaccination card to the site, but if you are interested in hiring me, I can send the image through communications (texts, email, etc.). I like to make my patients laugh, regardless of what the task is, whether I am helping them clean up an accident, or helping them get dressed, it can be a fun experience for both of us. I have received personal letters saying thank you for being so kind and patiently caring, from families and patients themselves. I am skilled at what I do. I do things thoroughly. I am stronger than I look, I can easily transfer people larger and taller than me. I know when to lower someone to the ground during transfers to prevent them from falling and hurting themselves. I know how to determine normal vital signs, and blood sugar levels. I have worked in nursing facilities, and respond well in emergency situations. I do have a cat allergy.

I became a caregiver because I feel like everyone deserves to be happy. I became a caregiver because I take pride in uplifting and inspiring other's while keeping myself positive and afloat to recycle love in a community. I love being a caregiver because the love you receive from caring for someone can help you be a better and greater person on a daily. A personal achievement I accomplished was to actually be able to tell my own mother no she can't smoke as I care for her cause she had 2 strokes and not feel bad about it because I know it's not good for her health. So while redirecting the consumers and giving them great advice on health issues comes from within.

My name is Wanda J. Martindale born in Michigan but raised in St. Louis MO. In 1999 the company that I worked for downsized. my job position was an administrative assistant. I became a Career Foster Parent house 65 girls from 2002 until 2016. I still have communication with many of the girls. To work with teenage girls was placed in my heart and I could not do it except God would lead guide and direct. as a mission statement I prayed that God would guide me with each child It was my responsibility that I would guide in the most positive way and the rewards are when thy come back and say thank you. that reaches the heart. Upon my recent move to Michigan I decided to look for work there are many choices but, While in St. Louis I began to reach out in my neighborhood to seniors I was the block captain. Once I went to Caring Partners and had a few assignments I fell in love with working with Seniors. In 1994 I took care of my grandfather which I enjoyed. My goal is to take care of Seniors I wake up each day thankful and want to serve the best that I can. Seniors have pride and dignity and should not be treated with the upmost respect.
