I'm a great caregiver, because of my compassion for people, especially senior care, developmentally disabled, those who can't speak for themselves, both verbally or non-verbally, being a voice. I've always been attracted to caregiving from a young child. Since caring for both parents, and family members. I enjoy being a part of helping others have a quality of life, through love, care and spiritual enlightenment that they otherwise may not have access to. It is a blessing to help others have an extended quality of life, that may not have otherwise been realized. Nursing is much more than a good job with great pay, it's a gift. It's the gift of life, on a daily basis your touching the lives of others, granting patients health, and hope of getting back home to family. Being a nurse is very rewarding and influential and rewarding career. Nurses care for people through illness, injury, pain, loss, dying, grieving, birth, growth, from adolescent to elderly. The love and compassion I have for nursing pores out into my daily life, as well as professional. Loving what what you do is one things but when you actually enjoy your career, the energy I put into it spills over to the care I provide and that only makes for my career choice that much more promising.
