I am a mother of 2 who has spent most of my life taking care of others. I'm a down to earth and compassionate person. I like to make people feel as comfortable as they can around me. I'm very casual. I took care of my grandmother from the age of 16 to my early 20's, who was suffering from dementia. At the age of 24 I acquired my certificate to pass medication in ISL homes for the state of missouri and taking care of the needs for the mentally and physically handicapped. I am CPR and first aid certified. I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them. I love to hear storys of there life. A personal achievement of mine is just my life in general. I feel blessed for my children and my home and the people I get to meet and care for.

Hi, my name is Lisa. I'm 49yrs old. Married to my befriend 25yrs who pasted away unexpectedly Christmas 2011. We have 3girls. 2of our own and the 3rd we adopted. They are my blessings & have blessed me with son 2too be 5 grandchildren. My mother was an RN, father a physical therapist. I'm a Capricorn making me a loyal& trustworthy person. I'm easy to get along with and take pride in my work. I've volunteered hundreds of hours since I was 13yrs old in various VA hospitals and nursing facilities. I'm an avid believer in giving back what you can when u can. I've been a licenced Cosmotalagist for 28yrs with the last 15yrs doing in home clients who can not get to a shop which brings me to where I am today being a care giver. I owned a shop in Clinton Mo in the early 90s & once a month for 5yrs would close shop to the public and spend 2days doing "camelot kids". Kids from.low income families could come in & get free shampoos haircuts lice treatments manicures etc. I enjoy being able to go to peoples homes and assist them with everyday tasks and I enjoy the friendships that builds. I live alone now and am able to this work. I have some medical knowledge growing up inn the medical field & being a hairdresser makes me the perfect candidate for being a personal caregiver.

My experience with healthcare includes Hospice care with both geriatric and pediatric, long-term care, and patients with mental and gastrointestinal disorders. Oh boy! I didn't see this section lol, well I absolutely love being a caregiver I was born to do this job! I can't imagine doing anything else. I can sit all day long and listen to them telling stories of how they grew up and lived their lives I just am amazed by so many people it's just wonderful to me it brings a smile to my face I really love it
