My name is Linda. I have 2 grown children, a cat and a dog. My background is 20 + years of working in Social Work to help people succeed and live their best lives. I have been a caregiver for the past 10 years until the couple recently passed. Basically, I Love people!!! I am an optimist and keep a positive attitude. I love to help people. I have many achievements on a professional level but feel my biggest achievement is raising 2 well adjusted children with huge hearts. They are kind and would help anybody. I love animals and plants. I grow herbs, vegetables, and lots of flowers. Additionally, my house is full of houseplants. Additionally, I am a music lover and enjoy many types of music. My family enjoys playing all types of board games and cards. Additionally, we enjoy nature, these beautiful mountains we live in, the beach, and traveling to explore new places. I started taking care of my grandmother at the young age of 8, from then on I decided to be a caregiver because it is a rewarding experience to see the smile on any elderly face. I am very dependable, trustworthy, and put in 110% in care-giving. Personal achievement are getting my certification in home health aide and nursing assistant, my next achievement is going to school to receive my nursing degree.

I have extensive experience (15 years) supporting clients (male & female) with all elements of support (ambulatory, non-ambulatory, dementias and hospice). I'm dependable (never missed a day of work, including 24/7 shifts). I am in excellent health (never smokes, drank or had taken drugs), have a strong back, able to assist with lifting, current on all vaccines and TB test, drug tested, CPR/First Aide certified, no criminal record, clean DMV record and fully insured. My name is Angie Brown, I have experience working in skilled facilities and also assisted living. For the last few years I have been doing home health care. I love being able to help families out and hopefully make a difference, its a very rewarding feeling, I'm proud of the way i take care of my clients and treat them with respect and provide them with the best care possible, I am covid vaccinated and cpr certified.

What attracted me to be a caregiver is the need for more community outreach. To be able to help residents in my community who fall under our "underserved" population to educate and help them better understand the help that they are entitled to!!
