I'm a mother of two amazing children. I'm a very patient and caring person who has a lot of experience assisting individuals with their daily routines. I first got into the field through my cousin who worked with mentally and physically challenged individuals of all ages when I was younger. I did that for many years and loved it. I then moved into early childhood education and worked for Headstart and a few daycare businesses. I started working specifically with seniors when my grandmother unfortunately became ill and I was one of her caregivers until she passed away. Since then I've worked in the field and have met a lot of incredible people. Sometimes I have to go from individual to individual depending on the company I'm working for and have always had good compliments and have always been requested back by them because of my outstanding job performance. My kids are getting older and I'm able to focus more on my career now. I look forward to meeting future clients and being able to assist them in anyway I possibly can to make things a little less stressful and to put a smile on their face.

I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. I have specialized experience in memory care. I have worked in homes and facilities but find my calling is more focused on a one on one basis, therefore I can put my all into one patient.

Hello my name is Simone , I've been a caregiver for about 13 years , I first started out caring for my mother that unexpectedly gotten sick which led me to wanting to provide care for others , what I enjoy about being a care giver is being able to just comfort my clients and making their day better that they forget about their problems . What makes me a great caregiver is being a good listener, providing great service to my clients such as keeping them safe , making sure all their needs are met before I leave them .

What makes me a great caregiver is that my sister has been a paraplegic my whole life and as a child I had to learn proper care for her as she is in a wheelchair so when my father got diagnosed with leukemia I was ready to be able to care for him properly. I am a respectful happy hard working person that enjoys my profession because I learn something new every day weather it's a bout life or a funny joke and get to take it home with me.

I have been employed by the state of New York,for 27 yrs.I have worked 14 years for the OFFICE OF PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES And 13 years for the OFFICE OF MENTAL HEALTH,as direct care staff. I am now retired but I continue to do what I do best,which is helping others. I am now a Personal care aide. Looking for private care clients.

Love taking care of people

I love helping people who need help with the tasks for independent living. I took care of my elderly mother for 6 years and found it to be very rewarding to me spiritually. She was very, very thankful for my kindness and empathy. This is important to me to make a difference for someone who needs help!

I became a caregiver in order to get experience before I began nursing school, and truly fell in love with the field. I believe I make a great caregiver as I am extraordinarily patient, caring, compassionate and truly care about the well being of those I'm taking care of. I have a bachelor's degree in anthropology and have one semester left to complete my RN (I will be finished in December 2016).

I pride myself on being flexible,patient, compassionate, reliable and empathetic .I started in my field as a candy striper at age 16 and have been in human services ever since.I enjoy the one on one interaction and I learn so much.My greatest accomplishment is having the experience it took to care for my Dad when he was placed on Hospice in 2014.
