I started caregiving for my grandmother who was suffering from dementia. Being a good caregiver requires a lot of patience. I provide that to people in my care and hope to assist them in ways that improve their quality of life. One of my greatest accomplishments as a caregiver was seeing someone recover cognitive ability after switching from nursing home to in home care.

Some of personality traits are I have empathy for others . I have great sense of humor . I have 6 children so I have experience in taking care of others and a lot of patience and I like to see others do well It gives me joy to see others be successful and achieve their goals. I have all skills needed to take care of individual daily living skills . What attracted me to being a caregiver is I am a people person I love helping others especially ones that can't do it on their own . It brings me joy knowing that I helped someone achieve their goals and we can share that experience together . What I enjoy the most is basically the flexibility the connections the smile on one's face . A personal achievement that I am proud of is being a mom and raising my children and my belief in god .

Being a caregiver is something that comes natural to me. As a young girl I watched my mom care for our elderly relatives and neighbors. I was always happy to assist her with helping others who couldn't help themselves. I enjoy showing great companionship to my patients. I love listening to their life stories, it helps me with getting to know and understand them. I treat patients how I would want someone to treat me or my loved ones if we were in the condition. The best reward I get from being a caregiver is knowing that I was able to help give someone a better quality of life because they're no longer able to do it on their own. I always be sure to treat my patients with respect and dignity.

I was my grandmother/mothers caregiver for many years. Unfortunately, in January 2022 she passed away and it left me feeling like a piece of me was gone. What makes me a great caregiver is that I pay attention to details. I do exactly what I'm told, asked and also give advice according to my expertise and I tell the truth about what is needed when it matters. I first started working with elders within my monastery taking care of their basic needs and taking them back and forth to doctor's appointments and following their doctors care of plan. That transmitted to my professional work life as a certified nursing aide, as I work in the nursing homes and also in private home settings. It brings me joy to see those who are in need of help receive the assistance that they need without taking away their dignity and also giving them the extra help that's necessary.... at the same time allowing them to do what they can for themselves. I have a broad range going from helping those with terminal illnesses all the way to those who just need extra assistance around the house. There is no job too big or too small for me to do.

I have been in home health aide for 9+ year. Worked with varies of clients with different needs. Im experience in hospice care, dementia patients, as well as basic care needs such as; meal prep, housekeeping, transportation to doctors appointments, and personal hygienic. I also have experience in nursing facilities as i been a CNA for 7+ years workibg with both seniors, young adults and infant children. Im Flexible, my own vehicle, no children, very reliable and dependable.

I provide flexible hours. Such as, nights, days or a 24-hour period, whatever is needed.
