I love being a caregiver because I love helping people . I have worked with the public all of my life and enjoy talking to people about their life experiences. It interests me as well as making the client feel comfortable . I am patient and kind and always treat people the way I would like to be treated .

What is a personal achievement you are proud of ? I start working with my great grandmother and I see the I start loving what I'm doing with out going to college because that is something that comes from your heart . What attracted you to being a caregiver? The love of the old people I love working with them. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? That it's a great job and you can learn more to take care everyone.

Iam a compassionate,happy individual.i treat people with respect,giving the care i would like to be given if i ever needed it. I see patients not just as clients but human beings who deserve love,kindness,compassion and integrity.

I am very compassionate and empathetic. I have taken care of others for many years including family members suffering from dementia as well as other cognitive and physical disorders. I enjoy helping others obtain happiness and contentment while being able to live in a home setting. The best part of being a care giver is the personal reward. My proudest personal achievement is being a mom and nana.

I am a very ambitious person and willing to learn new things. I started taking care of grandmother when I was younger and then took that and made it into a career. I enjoy being able to make someone's day by helping them with there ADLS. Also being their companion is very important in caregiving's. Years ago when I first entered the work force I was lucky enough to get a position as wait staff in a Memory Care facility. It was then that I first discovered my passion of caring for the elderly, specifically those with memory and physical impairments as a result of Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. I have spent most of my working years in this line of healthcare, serving individuals either in their personal home or in a nursing home setting. I have gained so much experience and education in memory care and pride myself on my ability to give my all to each patient. I have enjoyed taking care of others immensely and have found that it's what makes me the happiest. A person's later years can be confusing, scary, emotional and overwhelming but I have learned the tools to make each day meaningful and the very best it can be. I am often amazed at how lucky I feel to be caring for such amazing people, as every one I have ever cared for has had a wonderful life story. I am serving a person and enriching their life, not simply working a job and collecting a paycheck. I am currently attending classes at Cayuga Community College in pursuit of an RN degree and therefore am only available for part-time hours. I look forward to meeting a family who's needs match what I can offer and getting to work serving you and your loved one!
