My name is Tiffany Shaw. I have been working in the health care industry now since 2012. However, my CNA license expired in 2018 so I am working as a sitter. I am a creative person, so if you want to talk with about quilting, sewing, painting, drawing, etc, I would love to talk with you. I am also a pet person. I own a very active and mischievous 1 year old cat. I love her to death even though she is a pain in my neck. A lot... I grew up with dogs and birds too, so I'm comfortable with them as well. The only animals that I am not fan of are spiders, bees, and scorpions. I'm not afraid of snakes and will hold one that's not venomous. I do attend church regularly which does limit my availability somewhat. I'm what some people would call an old soul, so you can have a mature conversation with me and be more comfortable than you may typically be. I first knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I was 15 years old. I started taking care of my great-grandmother in her home and absolutely loved every aspect of it, so I made it my career. I have been a private duty caregiver forsix years. I have been working the last six years for a wonderful 88 year old woman with dementia and macular degeneration. She has recently passed. I assisted her with all of her daily needs. Assistance with bathing, dressing, and makeup,cooking all of her meals.planning all the meals and shopping, assisting her to all of her appointments, and assisting her with check writing, bill paying and other banking needs.
