I have been working in senior care and healthcare since the mid 1990's while in college. My experience first began when volunteering in the Adopt a Grandparent program and as an Activities Assistant in a Pittsburgh Nursing Home. I was married to a minister for 20 years and had many great experiences with the elderly in the church and home setting. We moved to Carthage, MO and I became a certified CNA and CMA. I've experience with nursing homes, assisted living, in home care as well as private clients. Through all of this I have truly found a love and compassion for the elderly population! I have also assisted in the care of my own mother and moved back to this area in November, 2019 to do so.

Hello, my name is Emily and I am 29 years old. I would describe myself as a very dedicated and hardworking individual. I became interested in caregiving at a young age due to my family's history in the medical field. My mother is a nurse and my father has worked at the hospital for over 30 years. Growing up in this environment helped instill a passion for helping people and thirst for knowledge. The aspects I like most about caregiving are seeing how I can help improve someone's day and meeting new people from all walks of life. I started personal care back in 2016 while working at a local nursing home, but took a break to persue my bachelor's degree in business administration. I have sense decided it is time to return to my true passion which is helping people in any way I can.

My name is Tiffany Shaw. I have been working in the health care industry now since 2012. However, my CNA license expired in 2018 so I am working as a sitter. I am a creative person, so if you want to talk with about quilting, sewing, painting, drawing, etc, I would love to talk with you. I am also a pet person. I own a very active and mischievous 1 year old cat. I love her to death even though she is a pain in my neck. A lot... I grew up with dogs and birds too, so I'm comfortable with them as well. The only animals that I am not fan of are spiders, bees, and scorpions. I'm not afraid of snakes and will hold one that's not venomous. I do attend church regularly which does limit my availability somewhat. I'm what some people would call an old soul, so you can have a mature conversation with me and be more comfortable than you may typically be. I first knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I was 15 years old. I started taking care of my great-grandmother in her home and absolutely loved every aspect of it, so I made it my career. It gives me so much joy to know that everyday I am making a difference in peoples lives by just being there to make life easier, providing the quality empathetic care they deserve and just being that someone they can count on daily. I take great pride in my work being reliable, honest, dedicated and trustworthy. I am licensed in the state of New York as an LPN and have gained many great skills in all aspects of nursing.

My favorite thing about being a caregiver is the residents. I was first attracted to this job because I felt that it was important for me to play a role in my community is someway, and helping to care for the elderly was a good fit for me. I am friendly and fun and I love to learn new skills and to learn about the people that I am working with.

I am a loving christian person! I put my whole heart with each client and care for them as them as if they were my family. I am very depenable and trustworthy.

I have 11 years of experience as a Certified Home Health Aide and i enjoy helping leiole3 maintain their independence in their homes. I am very reliable i do have my own vehicle and valid car insurance.
