I love this field of work because I have the opportunity to someone life better and help them feel secure about their situation. Rather if it's just companionship or cooking the a good meal. I am proud to be in this field because it motivated me to be greater and move further up in the business. It most definitely helped me accomplish goals that I have set in place.

Hello,I'm a nursing student just looking to help people take care of their love one's in their time of need. I'm very easy going,caring,loving,generous,respectful,and honest. I've always wanted to be in health care since the age of 3. When I was in high school my mother had a stroke & I helped her with recovering. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the bond that you develop with your client. The achievement that I'm proud of most was finishing my medical assistant program with honors (3.5gpa)

I'm a 52 year old male, with 5+yrs as an STNA. I've taken care of male, and female clients who all usually asked for me specifically. So i do respectfully apply for jobs that may prefer females. Only because i've VERY successfully cared for both M/F. This type of work is very specific, and requires dilligence 100% of the time. I enjoy this work for many reasons, but the biggest is to provide comfort, safety, and make my clients, your loved ones feel like they have my trust, and i'll earn theirs.That happens out of the utmost respect, kindness, patience, and highest level of care. Sometimes clients, residents just want to talk to you if you have positive energy, they detect that from caregivers. I'm not gonna write 1,000 words to describe how much i love this field of work. It's work that some can do, some can't, i'm outgoing, funny, happy and very approchable, and sociall. I have a 26yr old daughter, and a 19yr old son those are pretty much my friends, my life, my greatest blessing, achievements. Due to the fact they're really great people. I also take care of my mother who,s gonna be 80 in april, she has a benigne ping pong size brain tumor that has her 80% blind. My fathers 75 and has major arthritis but i kept them in their home, it's a sacrafice that i do happily. My kids do come to care for my parents when i'm working. I am easy going, I work at the clients pace, I like to interact with the clients, by listening to their old stories, to playing board games. On nice days, I like to get the clients outside, so they can feel the sun on their face, and so they don't feel couped up inside. I could take them to the park, or go for a walk if they are capable. I always put my clients needs above mine. I try to keep a positive atmosphere , so the clients are happy. I have worked in nursing homes, so I have experience with handling Full Care Patients, I have worked in assited living home, so I have exerience with just assisting with my patients, and I have also been a Caregiver in Homehealth Care, so I have experienced patients who just wants Companionship; which is the best part of my job.
