I have been an STNA/caregiver for 19 years! I have cared for patients in nursing facilities, hospitals, and their homes. I lead with love and enjoy serving seniors in any way that they may need.

I feel that I am a great caregiver because I am patient, understanding, a great listener, compassionate, and very caring. I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated. I am a positive person, I love to smile, and laugh. I am also trustworthy, supportive, and encouraging. When I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer (Stage 5) 6 years ago, my one and only Caregiver by the name of Barbara, was the absolute best. She took very good care of me, and was such a joy to have around. One day I told her that when I get better, I was going to become a Caregiver too because she was such an inspiration and blessing to me and my family. I am a natural born nurturer, and I love taking care of people. It gives me such a fulfillment in my spirit to know that I did something that day to make someone's life a little easier. I am proud of the fact that I was able to complete my courses to become a Certified Nurses Assistant 2 years ago, and I plan to go back to become State Tested to enhance my skills and knowledge in this particular field.

I am an energetic and positive caregiver! My first patient was my grandmother who was a patient of cancer for 20 years. I personally started caregiving 5 years ago when a very close family member had a stoke. I cared for her until her passing. After caring for her I realized I loved making a difference in someone's life, so I made a career with home health. The laughs and the things that me and clients achieve are irreplaceable to me. I'm very experienced with multiple types of needs such as bed bound, dementia and Alzheimer's, ADLs, recovering patients, transportation, and even just being there for them!

I have been a direct care specialist for 16 years working with clients from ages 21 and up. I am CPR certified and have experience in emergency situations. I can provide all daily living care needs and can provide overnight care if needed.

I am a Certified Personal Trainer from the National Personal Training Institute In Orlando Florida. I am a Sinclair Graduate with my Exercise Science Degree. I have completed my Internship with Kettering Health Network, working with Cancer Patients. I have succeeded at In Home care for Patients with Parkinsons disease, cancer, paraplegia, and other various diseases. I am Certified In EKG. I am Certified in Rock Steady and LiveStrong Programs.

I have 2 decades of experience in geriatrics. I received my STNA certification in 2001, from their I also worked as a CNA in another state in both nursing homes in Ohio & in Georgia. I've been doing HHC in both states as well. I've worked with Alzheimer's patient's as well as hospice care. And I've received my certification through the state of Ohio for my Independent Provider to take care of individuals with special needs for the past 7 years. I'm in college finishing my associates of science degree & my pre- nursing courses. And I'm going through my course to be certified in phlebotomy. I am also certified in cpr, aed, first aid, and medication administration category 1.
