I have been an STNA/caregiver for 19 years! I have cared for patients in nursing facilities, hospitals, and their homes. I lead with love and enjoy serving seniors in any way that they may need.

I been working in home care field since I was 17 I'm 22 now I love what i do I clean cook every day living I work with all different people elderly , disable / mrrd/ special needs . You name it . I do transportation bathing groom .I am cpr certificated and medicine certification. I i been with people that are easy upset , behaviors , and beyond bad behaviors. I am a mother of 4 going to Clark state for lpn. I am currently working at a local nursing home. I am CPR certified, have phlebotomy certification and I have been an stna for over 7 years. I love helping others. I currently work in the skilled unit helping assist patients with there daily adl's.

I feel that I am a great caregiver because I am patient, understanding, a great listener, compassionate, and very caring. I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated. I am a positive person, I love to smile, and laugh. I am also trustworthy, supportive, and encouraging. When I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer (Stage 5) 6 years ago, my one and only Caregiver by the name of Barbara, was the absolute best. She took very good care of me, and was such a joy to have around. One day I told her that when I get better, I was going to become a Caregiver too because she was such an inspiration and blessing to me and my family. I am a natural born nurturer, and I love taking care of people. It gives me such a fulfillment in my spirit to know that I did something that day to make someone's life a little easier. I am proud of the fact that I was able to complete my courses to become a Certified Nurses Assistant 2 years ago, and I plan to go back to become State Tested to enhance my skills and knowledge in this particular field.

I am a very caring and nurturing person. I really enjoy helping people. I also know when to promote independence for my client. I encourage my clients to do their best. I enjoy the experience of learning how to help an individual. By doing so, it allows a bond of trust and companionship to form between my client and myself. I give 100% of my time and attention to my clients. I always learn so much from taking care of others which helps me to become such a kind, caring, understanding, attentive, and compassionate caregiver.
