I have many years of experience with the Elderly . My last experience was my Aunt of 96 passed and I had been her caretaker for 4 years . Loved taking her to the movies , for a ride , just sit and talk for hours . Prior to that I had taken care of a Stroke patient for 10 years and after he passed took care of his wife for 8 years . Daily Living Needs , assisted in helper her get washed and dressed. Administered medication, kept medical records for Dr Appointments . Transportation to and from groceries stores, medical facilities, and weekly outings to keep her spirit up . Whatever it takes to make the patient feel cared for and happy .

I am a very caring person. I am super nice and try to get along with everyone. I also took care of my mom for many years until her passing. I take care of my dad as well as my grandmother. I also have other clients through another company I work for. I have done many things as a caregiver. I have done bathing, shopping, medication reminders, meal prep, lunch, breakfast, dinner, laundry, etc. I have met all kinds of people with all kinds of needs. Everyone is different and require different needs.

I have been working privately and for a company for 17 yrs and have always been well like by my patients I have been with the same patent for 5yrs and the least was 1 yr. I have stayed with all of them til the end of there life. I started this job because one of my friends said I would be good taking care of older people and asked if I would take care of his dad. With that said I fell in love with my work and have done it since. I am proud of the impacted that I have made on my patient and family.

One neighbor had a stroke that left her paralyzed on her left side. She then ended up with Metastatic Cancer. I assisted her with treatments, appointments, errands, showering, meals l, medications and her Hospice Care at the end of her life. My other elderly neighbor had lung cancer and decided against treatment. I was with her every step of the way. Appointments, Grocery Shopping,, Companionship, Cleaning and Cooking. When I say that my best friend was 74 years old when she passed away, I mean it. Friendship has no age barrier.

I love helping people. I just love being there for people, I'm a young single mom of a loving 7 year old whom I had at 15 that's my biggest achievement I'm proud of!
