I was attracted to being a caregiver because I wanted to be able to help people be able to do things they are unable to do without help . I just wanted to help them have the normal life they would have if they were able to do so .

I became a caregiver when I was 15, I have always loved helping people any way that I can. I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate, and I genuinely care about the people I care for and the impact that I have on their lives. I am proud to say that I have always worked hard and have always been a reliable co-worker and caretaker.

Im a good listener. I am kind, caring and patient. I am dependable. I love the elderly. I love it when they talk about growing up, meeting their spouses,maybe went off to war and of course their grandchildren and great grandchildren. I enjoy making a difference in their lives. Raising my children is what im most proud of.

I am a senior nursing student at IUP, and I will be graduating in may. I am very compassionate and love the field of work I am in. I have experience with caring for the elderly, as I was a caregiver for my neighbor back in High School. Since I am a senior student I have completed all areas of nursing (I will be in Psychiatrics and community nursing this upcoming semester). I am stroke and CPR certified, and also have general and military background checks and clearances. Upon graduation I will be a Active Duty Nurse in the Army. I am very personable, a fun spirit, and I love helping other people.

I believe I am a great caregiver because, I am able to take on most jobs regardless of the severity. I am able to prioritize and multi-task. I have experience with all stages of Alzheimer's and Dementia. As well as, hospice. Am also a very personal, friendly, outgoing, and most importantly reliable individual.

I have always had a nack for wanting take care of people my family always told me I was a old kind hearted soul. I am willing to help anyone I can young or old. I'm passionate at what I do I look at it as no one wants to be sick mentally or physically. I am lucky enough to be healthy so why not help others who need help helping there selves. If it wasn't for the people I have crossed paths with that I had the opportunity to take care I would have not wanted to go on to be a nurse. I know I'm doing something right when the people I have taken care of tell me I'm so glad I have you or are you going to be my aide tomorrow? I love you. Don't leave. An it breaks my heart. A. If reason why I want one on one Care cause in these nursing facilities I don't get a chance to be with the people as much as I'd like to really get that care they need. I want to be able to feel good about what I do an not guilty because I had 15 people An could only do so much by myself . This is why I am hear on earth to Be a care taker I wouldn't have it any other way

I am a senior nursing student at IUP. I have worked with patients from premature newborns to the elderly. I am a highly compassionate person and am very passionate about my work and my career in nursing. I loved spending time with my clients when I was a caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care. I am CPR certified and have a lot of experience with many different disorders!

I think patience and compassion are essential traits needed for working this type of job. This is a job that might have some challenging situations along the way, and a good attitude goes a long way. Ive always had a giving personality and I like helping people. My grandmother had raised my brother and I since we were toddlers. As Ive gotten older and she has as well, Ive been giving back and helping her along the way. I would say that really kickstarted my compassion and empathy for the elderly. In my opinion, this is one of the most rewarding jobs one can have. Just knowing you are helping someone who cant help themselves, and seeing how grateful they are for it, makes it all worth it.

I am 31 years old and a mother of two children, and a fiance. In my free time, I enjoy art and exploring caverns and caves, I love animals and learning new things. I enjoy this work because I appreciate the company of the people I work with. I come acrossed so many, wonderful people and I am happy to help them in any way I can.
