Hello families, I am a , CNA- Certified Nurse Assisted. I have been working in the medical and non medical fields of healthcare for 22 years. I specialize in homecare, but I have worked 1:1 with a broad range of clients and patients from ages 0-105 years old. I have worked with geriatric clients in different facilities like, ALF, ACF, ADLF, SNF and more. I obtained my CNA certificate in 1997 from a well known community college. I also attended my clinicals at a very well known hospital. I enjoy what I do and I will continue to provide care to the ones in need. As long as I can put a smile on my clients/patients face at the end of the day I'm happy when I have made them happy.

My passion and purpose in life is helping people. I have over 10 years of professional caregiving experience. My first love has always been being a personal caregiver for seniors. I have had extensive experience with companionship, personal care, Alzheimer's, dementia, etc. My education and also being a Medical Assistant has been used often with working as a personal caregiver. I have worked as a caregiver for family members, for home care agencies, and assisted living facilities. I became a Caregiver because I love to see a person smile every day, specially at there most important time, of there life. Appalachian Trail, a 2160-mile footpath, I walked 820 miles and I seen some of the most beautiful scenes. Im reliable, trusting and speak english.

Being a caregiver for the past forty years has given me countless opportunities to help a variety of people. I have dealt with many different situations and illnesses in all age groups. I am a compassionate and patient individual. Nursing is my career. I started in 1978 as a certified nursing assistant and went on to graduate in 1995 as an LPN. My specialty is geriatrics mostly in skilled nursing facilities. Presently I work private care only. I much rather prefer to focus on individual care now. Having taken care of both of my parents at home and having years of nursing background, I am more than qualified to take care of your loved one. I will provide a relaxing, stimulating environment where they will feel safe. All the while making sure their daily needs are met. Providing nutrious meals and snacks is also important. I have specialized knowledge of Altzeimers and dementia. I have no problem giving insulin shots or morphine as I worked in hospice care. I am single with my son grown up. I have a very flexible schedule yet do make time for myself. I keep Sundays free for church and family. I prefer to work day hours, but will work some evenings if needed. I can only help your loved one if they are able to be mobile as I have a lifting restriction. I can assist someone in and out and up and down, but not if I have to lift. I also help with errands, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and will offer any helpful info if needed for your loved ones care. Thank you for taking the time to read about me.

I am a very loving person and I love to help people to put smile on their face. I love to be a care giver because it my passion to be a Nurse. I love to help other to live the best of their lives in a meaningful way. Am also a very fun to be with. I have a family member that pass away from a certain sickness, I was their but I couldn't help in any shape or form, since then I decided to join the health care field and join hands in fighting certain diseases . What I love most in been a care giver is that am able to put smile on their face at the time that they can help themselves and I help lift them in Sprit and make then happy. One achievement am so so proud of is been a going to school and been a Nurse.

What makes me a good caregiver is I have Patience, I'm Compassionate. I'm very Detail Oriented. Being Present. Cooperative. Trustworthy. Loving and caring. What inspired me to become a caregiver and also going for my CNA license is my mother. She's been a CNa over 30 years. It inspired me to help others it inspired me to become a better person knowing that I still have the ability to help others reach there daily goals in life and just letting people know they always have a helping hand. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing that I can help. Just knowing that I can help make a difference in someone's life. My personal achievement im proud of was taking the steps to get my CNA and continuing my nursing education.

I understand that aging is a process and is very sensitive to those who have surpassed me a few times over.
