I am very patient and considerate. When comes to caregiving I like to have a sense of humor and keep my spirit joyous so that I can serve with my best. I started caregiving for my mother in 2009 and have been doing it ever since. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing the satisfaction of my loved ones; knowing that their needs have been met. I wouldn't say I have a personal achievement to be proud of per say, because I haven't perfected being a caregiver. But I'm proud of the fact that I give of myself to others in need.

I have been a certified nursing assistant for 17 years? I am excellent at caring for others. Helping individuals whom have been injured or those who are disabled or ailing is my passion. I take great pride in being a CNA and assisting where people can not completely do for themselves, to ease the load on the family and loved ones.

Last 10 plus years I was the full time care giver for my mom who was a kidney patient (dialysis, medicine induced diabetic), auto-immune Patient which led to head and neck cancer and dad (COPD, Emphysema) before they passed. I enjoy caring for everyone, but the elderly hold a special place in my heart. Listening to them reminisce about the things they did when they were younger is one of my favorite things. They may not remember what they ate for breakfast, but watching their eyes light up when they tell me about a first love, a best friend from school or anything from their younger days fills my heart with joy. Previous experience in cancer care, dialysis care, COPD, emphysema, dementia, diabetic care and special needs. CPR/AED certified

I helped my mother during her breast cancer and lung cancer diagnosis. So care giving is very personal to me. I have worked the past 5 years assisting 4 individuals with specials needs. I assisted with medications, grooming, personal hygiene, meal prep and feeding. I also was responsible for household chores. I took my clients on outings and to doctors appointments.
