I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Hello everyone, my name is Kim. I am originally from NC, which is where I have, so far, completed my education and skills. I have years of experience in patient care. I am a very compassionate and empathetic caregiver. I'm able to adapt well to different personalities. My strongest personality traits are my listening skills and my keen intuition. I became more interested in geriatrics when I became a medical assistant. I enjoyed emergency medicine but God gave me this incredible ability to love people, like I have known them my whole life. In particular, to give outstanding care to the ones who once took care of us. What I love most about being a caregiver is making people feel comfortable, respected, important and dignified. A personal achievement I am proud of and blessed to have, are my two sons. My oldest is 8 yrs old and is Autistic. It has been an incredible/beautiful journey watching him achieve little milestones we sometimes take for granted. My youngest son is 6 years old but acts like he is 35. I am a people's person and i love helping others. I have a rare personality that causes me to never get upset easily and I know how to overlook a lot of elderly people that is set in their own ways. i have a happy spirit that apparently rubs off on others . I have had my very on experience of ventilators, seizures and cpr certified. So I don't panic nor tense up under medically emergencies.

Being a caregiver is a rewarding job. In my heart it makes me feel good to help others in need of care. Caring and compassion is key to being a caregiver.

Im very caring and compassionate, i love being able to help others. Ive cared for individuals young and old. Ive volunteered for hospice. I have also cared for my mother and brother who both had cancer until their passing. Im not sure if anyone would have to care for me one day. Prayerfully i will receive the same love and compassion that ive shown others.

i am a great caregiver i love caring for others , companionship means alot so thats what i offer , most times its just caring and being genuine with care it means alot to patients , i am always on time and prompt to my clients homes as well as respecting their privacy goes a long way , i respect my clients as they do me and i take care of their home as though it were mine which is superb i have been taking care of patients with home health aide experience of 27 years , never second guessed the care i give because my clients are always clean and happy when i leave and even more happy when i arrive

I graduated in 1997 and became an RN. I've been working as a critical care nurse ever since. Recently, I've had to change my focus due to medical reasons but I still LOVE taking care of others. I hope I'm given the chance to get back to work in a field I love.
