I am very patient and considerate. When comes to caregiving I like to have a sense of humor and keep my spirit joyous so that I can serve with my best. I started caregiving for my mother in 2009 and have been doing it ever since. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing the satisfaction of my loved ones; knowing that their needs have been met. I wouldn't say I have a personal achievement to be proud of per say, because I haven't perfected being a caregiver. But I'm proud of the fact that I give of myself to others in need.

They may not remember what they ate for breakfast, but watching their eyes light up when they tell me about a first love, a best friend from school or anything from their younger days fills my heart with joy. I have been a caregiver for over 20yrs. I have passion for helping people. My special trait is how I approach my clients. It's hard to go from independence to needing someone to assist you. I totally understand, I assure my clients that whatever they can still do. Do it but just let me assist if needed. My grandmother passed away in 1988. She had a nurse 24 hours a day.
